Team spirit characterizes our daily work
Production expertise plays an extremely important role at Murtfeldt. However, a healthy corporate culture is just as important. That means: In addition to performance-oriented wages and salaries, advanced training and instruction, Murtfeldt promotes team spirit with joint activities. Whether it's the weekly fitness sessions, the annual corporate chase challenge, sailing regattas, or bike trips, team spirit adds the right touch - particularly for daily work.
Activism in the name of a good cause
Murtfeldt employees do not just work up a sweat to do themselves good - frequently they engage themselves to help a good cause. CEO Detlev Höhner makes a contribution to a charitable project for each kilometre run or cycled by our employees.
Our social engagement has another aspect: We support schools, as for example, with the city dance project "school motions". In addition, we have supported art and school projects in Zimbabwe and the development of a solar car at the University of Bochum, thus encouraging developments that aim to protect the world's climate.
RUHR 2010 – Kultuurhoofdstad van Europa
Er is in de afgelopen 25 jaar in het Roergebied veel gebeurd. De kultuurhoofdstad van Europa spreekt van "Verandering door Kultuur en kultuur door verandering. Alle 53 steden in het gebied bouwen samen aan de kultuurmetropool van Europa. Overtuig uzelf en bezoek het Roergebied.

Murtfeldt plays an active role at "RUHR.2010 European Capital of Culture" in the scope of cultural sponsorship and is supporting the Ruhr area campaign "Dem Ruhri seine Kampagne". With impressive pictures - as a poster exhibition and in book format - this campaign shows a very idiosyncratic and versatile side of the Ruhr area.
